Script line wrapper
Wrapped in your browser
Wrap words, then test the reading layout
Line breaks come first. Font, spacing and margins come after.
- Paste a copy of your script and start with 42 characters per line.
- Choose Wrap script, then review long-word flags and paragraph breaks.
- Copy or download the wrapped text, or explicitly send it to the prompter within the transfer limit.
- Set the final font, spacing and margins with the font-size preview, then rehearse at a comfortable scroll speed.
How line lengths are counted
Greedy wrapping, grapheme counts and what stays unchanged.
The wrapper adds words greedily until another word would exceed the selected length. Spaces within a line are normalized to one; existing line and blank-paragraph boundaries are preserved. Unicode-aware segmentation keeps combined characters together. Modern browser support is required for these grapheme counts.
Use a script up to 2 MiB. Processing runs in a cancelable local worker. The result is a formatting copy; no saved prompter script is overwritten automatically.
Questions about this tool
Short answers about what the tool does, what it leaves out and where your data goes.
Will the wrapper split a long word?
Ordinary words longer than your limit stay intact and are flagged. Unbroken CJK text uses complete grapheme boundaries so it can wrap without spaces. Original input remains in its own field.
Does this set the prompter’s reading width?
No. The output contains line breaks. The actual font, window width and margins still determine how it appears in the prompter. Rehearse with the final display settings.
What counts as a character here?
The wrapper counts Unicode grapheme clusters, so a combined accent or joined emoji can count as one displayed character. This is not a platform-specific weighted character limit.
